Two women from Thame will be running a half marathon in aid of charity.
Justine Gallagher and Judith Powell are preparing to run 13 miles in the White Horse Half Marathon on Sunday, April 6 in aid of Oxfordshire Mind.

Justine has just become a volunteer at The Mill, a Community Resource Project run by Oxfordshire Mind for people who are experiencing mental and emotional health problems in Oxford.

She said: "I have suffered from mental health problems myself so I know how important it is that charities such as Oxfordshire Mind are well supported by the public."

She added: "I did a 10km run in Manchester in June 2007, and by the end of it I wanted to keep running!

"I wasn't nearly as worn out as I thought I would be, so that motivated me to want to go further and do the half marathon."

Judith added: "I am not a natural runner, but amazingly I'm finding it quite enjoyable, especially eating twice as many carbs on a daily basis!"
