Police are appealing for the public's help in tracing a missing man from Thame.
Philip Jones, aged 44, of Stuart Way, went missing from his home on Wednesday evening

He is white, stocky, around 5ft 10in and has receding black hair. It is believed he left on his pedal cycle wearing a high-visibility waistcoat.

Sgt Sam Lewis, of Thame police station, said: "Mr Jones was reported missing to police yesterday. We are concerned for his welfare as he has not been seen since Wednesday, his mobile phone is turned off and we don't believe he has any money in his possession.

"I appeal to anyone who recognises Mr Jones, or has seen a man matching his description, to contact police immediately."

Anyone with information about his whereabouts is urged to contact Thames Valley Police on 0845 8 505 505. If you don't want to speak to police and don't want to leave your name contact the Crimestoppers charity on 0800 555 111.
