THAME Bartlett Badgers' Set marked their tenth anniversary recently - and present at the celebration were the couple whose generosity in the face of tragedy helped set the group up.
The club, who are attached to St John Ambulance, began after Monica and David Bartlett donated money in memory of their son Peter, who had a keen interest in first aid.

Anna Shaw, the group's leader, said: "It is a great grounding for children to have medical training but we also have lots of other badges about travel and the environment and healthy eating so its not just about first aid."

She added: "Mr and Mrs Bartlett came down for the annual inspection and some children did a little presentation for them. It was really nice to have them there."
