Plans to build 168 new homes near the Tring Road Tesco are to be consulted on.

Spen Hill Developments, owned by Tesco, want to build the homes on empty land alongside the canal next to the supermarket.

The plans have not been submitted to Aylesbury Vale District Council yet but it appears the main access route to and from the site would be Tring Road.

Developers will be holding an exhibition at the Tring Road Tesco from tomorrow (Wednesday) until next week so people can comment on the plan.

There would be a mix of one and two-bed apartments and two and three-bed houses, with all buildings three storeys or lower.

A Spen Hill spokesman said: “We are keen to get people’s views before we submit our planning application, particularly if you think the proposals will improve the site and if the development will be important to deliver new housing for Aylesbury.”
