A POPULAR band from Thame have played a live session on BBC radio.

Rock and blues band DogHouse, pictured right, have built up a strong following since they formed in 1996 and were invited to played on Phil Kennedy’s Saturday morning show on BBC Radio Oxford

Drummer Nick White, who lives in Thame, said: “It was tremendous fun and hope it comes across that we really enjoy what we do.”

Vocalist Kevin Davis, also from Thame, said: “The radio appearance was a fantastic recognition of the reputation the band has built – we love to entertain and give the crowd a night to remember.”

Oakley-based Cliff Newport added, “It was brilliant to be given the opportunity to go onto local radio and talk about the band and promote live music.”
