PUPILS at the Downley Lodge School of Speech and Drama in Haddenham are celebrating after passing their exams this summer.
Twenty pupils from throughout Aylesbury Vale who train at Downley Lodge were successful in passing their recent acting examinations with distinction for the second time running.

One of the outstanding students was 17-year-old Bethany Hamlin, who gained her gold medals in both acting and speech.

Other pupils who passed their acting examinations are as follow:

Grade One: James Alley from Little Horwood, Hugo Winnett from Weedon and George Birk from Weedon; Grade two: Rosie Trevill from Haddenham and Elizabeth Kessel from Eythrop; Grade five: Matthew Lawson from Cuddington, Olivia Birk from Weedon, Lucy Weldon from Quainton, Harry Giles from Haddenham, Harry Greenough from Haddenham and Saskia Wilcox from Haddenham; Grade Six: Callie Mitchell from Leighton Buzzard, Charlotte Winnett from Weedon, Rebecca Brooks from Tiddington and Sarah Covington from Aylesbury.

A gold medal for acting also went to Lucy Brackley, from Haddenham.
