A new Cub pack held its first event at Haddenham Scout Hut earlier this month.
The Timber Wolves, formed in September by new Cub leaders Mark and Pam Adams-Wright, met hedgehogs, snakes and creepy crawlies during a visit from educational display company, ZooLab, and handed a thank you card to Haddenham Beer Festival treasurer, Martyn Broughton, who donated £500 to help start the pack.

Mr Adams-Wright said: “Last year my wife and I took over the running of Haddenham’s two Beaver colonies, and of the 19 Beavers we had, 14 were due to go up into Cubs, but the existing Cub pack was unable to accommodate these boys.

“So my wife and I looked at each other and said ‘We’re not having them on a two year waiting list - we’ll start our own pack’.”
