TONGUES are wagging in Thame as the town’s culinary celebration approaches.

Thame Food Festival will be held on September 24 and promises to be the best yet.

Highlights include chef Raymond Blanc and his team from Le Manoir aux Quat’Saisons, preparing a three course meal for two in 40 minutes.

The French TV chef will also be offering a voucher for The Raymond Blanc Cookery School worth £375 which will be raffled on the day.

Other exhibitors include The Chiltern Brewery, The Good Biscuit Company, Merchants of Vino, Tim’s Dairy, Lassco Coffee Shop, Cavendish Events, Lotte’s Kitchen, Mortimer Chocolate Company, Daws Hill Vineyard, The Oxford Cheese Company, Chiltern Natural Foods and many more.

“You can imagine how proud I am to be patron of this year’s Thame Food Festival,” said local TV chef, presenter and writer Lotte Duncan. “Last year was great, but this year looks as if it’s going to be even tastier.”
