Broxbourne Borough 2 Aylesbury FC 2 - A point was enough to propel Mark Eaton's side to the top of the SML at the weekend.
FC's match away to Broxbourne, which was one of their games in hand over fellow promotion rivals such as Tring Athletic, was in a very small minority of matches to actually take place given the freezing conditions.

And Eaton's title-chasing side made sure it was not an opportunity wasted as they sealed a 2-2 draw to ensure they started the new year where they intend to finish in May, at the top of the league.

For a full report of the match and reaction see this week's Bucks Herald, out Wednesday.
